The Story
A first-time candidate and challenger, Jefferson’s campaign leveraged a strong grassroots effort combined with digital outreach to secure a dominant upset victory against his incumbent primary opponent, shocking liberal pundits across the state of Kentucky.
By using peer-to-peer text messaging to alert voters to the incumbent’s long history as a RINO, Jefferson’s grassroots supporters were able to deliver a decisive win for true Republican values.

Combs for School Board
The Story
A first-time candidate and challenger to the status-quo in his district, Jerry Combs ran a cutting-edge campaign that heavily relied on our digital fundraising and GOTV tools.
Competing in a crowded field of eight candidates, Combs quickly separated himself from the rest of the field by heavily leveraging social media and peer-to-peer texting to outraise and out-message his opponents.
Combs finished 1st among the field of eight, earning nearly 17% of the votes cast and defeating the incumbent Board president by almost 1,000 votes.
Combs’s campaign is a textbook example of how utilizing Power-Up’s digital tools and strategies can lead to dominant results on election night.

The Story
A first-time candidate, Michael Chumley aimed to address key issues he identified with the school board in his district.
Starting out with no name recognition to speak of, Chumley steadily built momentum and established legitimacy among voters through his intelligent and measured campaign messaging.
Action-driven web design and social media strategy resulted in Chumley netting 32% of the vote and a win over the incumbent board present by nearly 1,000 votes.

Milford United for Responsible Spending
The Story
Up against a developer-backed campaign to pass a bloated school bond issue that would have crippled taxpayers, a group of concerned citizens and parents joined together to create “Milford United for Responsible Spending”, a volunteer organization aimed at educating voters on the nefarious nature of the proposed school bond.
Asked to get involved with less than a month to go before the vote, we wrote messaging that organically reached over 6,000 users on Facebook. We also published articles in the local newspaper supporting the position held by MU4RS. Additionally, we leveraged interviews and spots on news segments with the local TV stations in an effort to educate voters on our client’s positions.
Our efforts were successful, and the bloated school bond issue was soundly defeated by 14 percentage points on election day.

Nolan for School Board
The Story
Another first-time candidate, Melissa Nolan’s campaign is another textbook example of the benefits of peer-to-peer texting at the local level.
Nolan’s GOTV texts helped drive a significant increase in voter participation when compared to the previous cycle.
More importantly, they contributed greatly to her finishing 2nd out of 8 candidates and winning a seat on her local school board.
